We are seeking a Service Engineer to provide exceptional support and maintenance services for cutting-edge photopolymer products used in the consumer packaging and printing industries. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot system failures and perform preventative maintenance at client locations primarily in Germany, less often in DACH and Mediterranean countries. The position involves working from home with an expectation to travel within Germany and occasionally to other European countries 75% of the time.

Day to Day of the role:

• Deliver routine maintenance to improve performance of equipment at customer premises.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and respond to emergency callouts.
• Utilize remote diagnostics tools to troubleshoot issues at customer sites.
• Highlight and address safety issues, conduct equipment analysis, and report potential failures.
• Request parts and equipment to carry out maintenance works and implement improvement plans.
• Maintain high standards in maintenance, installation, testing, and inspection of new equipment.
• Ensure all activities conform with Health & Safety requirements and maintain personal safety as well as that of others.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a similar position with experience in multi-skilled maintenance roles.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or a similar qualification.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Understanding and/or experience with PLC systems.
• Analytical, structured, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• IT skills for remote diagnostics and proficiency in MS Office applications.
