Supply Chain Finance Manager

We are seeking a Supply Chain Finance Manager to provide essential finance support within our Client's manufacturing facility and leadership team, as well as the wider finance organization. This role is pivotal in overseeing site-related supply chain activities, including cost accounting and site reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with site leaders on financial matters and will be the first point of contact for all site-related financial issues.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and analyze monthly KPIs, reporting directly to the site leader.
• Conduct freight cost analysis, review expense trends, and identify cost improvement initiatives.
• Support the site team with capital requests and financial modelling requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates for new items and calculate labour and overhead rates for annual updates.
• Respond to ad hoc costing requests from commercial teams.
• Analyze inventory trends and oversee the annual stock count.
• Manage the cost roll-up process and calculate required freight accruals and inventory provisions.
• Perform variance analysis on site costs and prepare and submit forecasts and budgets in the systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 8 years’ experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to manufacturing accounting principles.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial statement preparation.
• Experience with PowerBI and Hyperion Enterprise is beneficial.
• Knowledge of SAP/JD Edwards systems is an advantage.
