This position is available in two locations- Netherlands (Amsterdam) and Germany (Sittensen)
Job Purpose
The Internal Sales Representative is responsible for managing and developing turnover with an existing portfolio of small accounts. The primary objective is to re‑engage customers, grow sales, and maximize customer retention through frequent, proactive communication and effective use of sales tools and CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Development
- Develop a portfolio of small accounts, with responsibility for growing their turnover and developing them into medium and, ultimately, key accounts as the role evolves.
- Re‑engage customers through frequent outbound contacts via phone, email, and WhatsApp
- Promote company services, commercial conditions, seasonal offers, discount structures, and bonus schemes
- Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within the existing customer base
- Execute sales actions using defined call scripts and sales guidelines
- Meet or exceed individual sales and activity targets
Customer Communication & Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with customers to keep them informed of new offers and services
- Build long‑term customer relationships through a proactive, professional, and solution‑oriented approach
- Ensure consistent follow‑up on commercial discussions and customer requests
CRM & Sales Tools
- Use the CRM system daily to plan, track, and optimize sales actions
- Accurately update customer contact details, call reports, opportunities, and actions in the CRM
- Ensure data quality to support effective sales campaigns and reporting
Customer Service Support (Secondary Responsibility)
- Provide first‑level technical advice related to products or services for assigned customers
- Assist customers with online processes such as order tracking and online returns
Profile & Skills
Education & Background
- Ideally a background or strong affinity with Agriculture or Automotive industries
- Previous experience in internal sales, telesales, or commercial roles is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial mindset with a clear taste for sales and customer development
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Comfortable with frequent outbound customer contact
- Fluent German OR Dutch is essential
