The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader (m/f/d) to oversee maintenance operations within a production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys combining people management, maintenance strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high equipment availability through preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the maintenance team
- Create, coordinate, and optimize maintenance schedules and plans
- Oversee documentation of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment history
- Manage purchase requisitions, supplier quotations, and maintenance-related procurement
- Monitor maintenance costs, budgets, and reporting activities
- Carry out and supervise electrical and mechanical maintenance work
- Plan and implement maintenance and improvement projects
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and other operational departments
Your Profile
- Completed technical apprenticeship, vocational training, or comparable technical qualification
- Several years of maintenance experience, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on attitude with the ability to combine operational and leadership responsibilities
- Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft 365 applications
- Good English language skills, both written and spoken
