Location: Home-based (Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands)

Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Director to lead profitable revenue growth across Continental Europe. This role is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, managing a regional team, and achieving annual revenue and margin goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the European sales strategy in alignment with global objectives.
  • Lead and support the sales team in selling Domestic, Commercial Water Treatment and Renewable Products to OEMs, merchants, and distributors.
  • Build strong relationships with top customers and major OEMs; identify and convert key prospects.
  • Monitor market trends, identify new opportunities, and influence end-users and specifiers to drive product adoption.
  • Oversee sales reviews, budgets, forecasts, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and uphold corporate reputation.
  • Lead a team of 12-14 employees (4 direct reports, Regional Managers)

Challenges:

  • Establish leadership across the European sales team.
  • Drive sales and margin growth to meet targets.
  • Ensure the company remains a leader in water treatment and renewable heat transfer markets.

Qualifications:

  • HVAC industry experience required (water treatment)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of sales leadership experience, with a track record of exceeding goals and growing global teams.
  • Expertise in complex deal negotiation and structured sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Solution Selling).
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales analytics.
  • Fluent English; additional European languages a plus.
