Join an international leader with over 20 years of experience in the automotive market, specializing in cellular modems and software. We are expanding our R&D team in Budapest and are looking for a Senior RF Engineer to help design and validate top-tier automotive wireless communication modules including 3G/4G/5G/WIFI and V2X.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Own the baseband design process from initial product definition through to mass production, including schematic design, PCB design review, and development kit design.
- Conduct baseband verification and validation.
- Manage RF development activities to support project management.
- Design and review RF drivers, calibration, and perform debugging and optimization for performance improvements.
- Verify and validate RF performance to meet customer and factory standards.
- Mentor and coach junior RF engineers to foster team growth and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Wireless Communications, or a related field.
- Extensive RF development experience in wireless products, with experience based on QTI/MTK solutions being advantageous.
- Familiarity with GSM/EDGE/WCDMA/LTE/NR/V2X/WLAN wireless technologies and 3GPP/IEEE RF specifications.
- Proficient in RF system design for both transmission and reception, and RF matching.
- Experience with RF equipment such as Call Box testers, Spectrum analyzers, and Network analyzers.
- Good English communication skills are essential; Chinese language skills are a plus.
