We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our client's commercial efforts in Germany, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and strategic initiatives while building long-term customer relationships.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Report directly to the Sales Director for Central Europe and collaborate closely with the commercial team.
  • Act as the primary 'go-to market' person for key stakeholders, ensuring the implementation of pricing policies and credit management.
  • Manage commercial activities including price conditions, order negotiation, agreements, promotions, and sales operational tasks such as order entry and service control.
  • Drive specialty development and project management, delivering innovative solutions to customers and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the current client portfolio, increasing sales, contribution margins, SKUs, product ranges, and share of wallet.
  • Attract new clients and support them in identifying solutions through our self-adhesive and specialty products.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with accounts, providing distinctive service levels and acting as a partner of choice.
  • Deploy the commercial strategy effectively, tailoring it to the local market to maximize short- and medium-term results.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • Proven track record in driving sales and margin contributions in customer accounts.
  • Experience in structured environments with rigorous commercial processes (margin monitoring, CRM, etc.).
  • Ideally, experience in B2B sectors such as wine, cosmetics, household, personal care, food industry, packaging, printing, or labels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, and influence
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in German and English; proficiency in Spanish and Italian is a plus.
