We’re working with a leading international company on an exciting opportunity to launch a brand-new consumer product category (FMCG) into the Berlin market. They’re looking for a Marketing Deployment Manager to lead this initiative, combining strategic planning with field execution, and agency coordination to ensure impactful market entry.
Strong knowledge of the Berlin market and consumer landscape is essential to ensure local relevance and commercial success. This role offers a clear path to future leadership, including potential progression to a Country Manager position.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Launch Execution
Lead the end-to-end deployment of a new product category in the Berlin region, ensuring local relevance and commercial effectiveness. - Agency Management
Identify, recruit, and manage a local third-party agency to support the launch strategy. Guide them in executing activities across targeted trial channels (gyms, HoReCa, influencers, etc.). - Trial & Distribution Strategy
Develop and implement a focused distribution plan to drive trial among relevant consumers, establishing brand presence through strategic touchpoints. - Database Development
Collaborate with internal and external teams to create and grow a consumer database from trial engagements for future CRM and retargeting efforts. - Feedback & Optimization
Gather and deliver timely qualitative and quantitative insights on market response, product performance, and consumer behavior. Make recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
Experience & Background
- Proven experience in sales and field force management, ideally within a family-owned or international FMCG company.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in launching new products or categories is highly advantageous.
